Effective Oct. 23, 2023, the commission scale for these products will change from a level commission rate for all terms to a level commission rate per year of term. While this change means reduced commission on some term certain annuities, client incomes for some terms will increase, helping put more money into your clients' pockets. Making commissions more consistent across guaranteed income products also means a more streamlined process for you. You’ll no longer need to request commission reductions via head office, unless you wish to take a further commission reduction to improve your clients’ returns.
