Here’s what you need to know!
Clients can enjoy the reduced premium for the life of their policy. Be sure to talk to them about our ongoing reduced premium on these policies. Subject to change with notice.
For Canada Life LifeAdvance™ critical illness insurance, we’re continuing to offer a 5% reduction in premiums for new, qualifying policies.
For Canada Life My Term insurance, clients in some key age groups looking for specific coverage amounts can get a reduction in term premium rates.

| | Web-based Canada Life illustrations platform updates | On June 26, the web-based Canada Life Illustrations platform was updated with the launch of term reduction in premium. In addition to enhancements for this launch, other updates were made too.
What’s new: - When completing your client’s term life or critical illness insurance illustration, you can now select the reduction in premium checkbox to show them their reduced premium – if eligible.
- Improvements to the navigation have been made for entering data and creating reports.
- The layout for additional deposit option (ADO) in par premium payment section has been redesigned. The location of the ADO field has been moved closer to the ADO payment amount field.
