Following a product review, we are making changes to the A-Z application to provide more clarity around various health conditions and to ensure we are continuing to provide the suitable type and amount of coverage to our customers.
What do you need to know?
Effective Saturday September 24, 2022, the A-Z application will be updated to reflect these changes. The new application will be available on eAccess and our advisor site.
Please note that eAccess will be offline between 9:00pm-11:59pm ET on September 23, 2022, to facilitate the system update.
How does this affect my clients?
Product type eligibility may shift slightly for some clients, or it may not - depending on their risk profile. If this is the case, Foresters' products could provide you with a full complement to better meet your clients' needs.
Please note: Premiums are not being increased, and this change will not affect existing policies.
Important dates to remember - Complete and submit all e-applications before 9:00PM ET Friday, September 23, 2022. Any saved, incomplete or rejected applications will be closed.
- Any old A-Z applications (versions marked (01/22) in the bottom right corner) signed and dated after September 23, 2022, will not be accepted and will be returned to you.
- Old A-Z applications (versions marked (01/22) in the bottom right corner) signed and dated before September 24, 2022, must be received at 250 Ferrand Drive, Suite 1100, Toronto, ON M3C 3G8 by 4:00PM ET on October 7, 2022. Old A-Z applications received after October 7, 2022, will not be accepted and will be returned to you.
What other changes have been made to A-Z?
That’s it! The A-Z product remains a very competitive solution for your clients. You can continue to: - Offer a truly no-medical experience up to $500,000 – no fluids, no needles, no doctor’s examination.
- Inform your clients that payments start in the 2nd month – applicable on monthly payment plans only.
- Experience excellent support and quick issue.
