Why don’t I get notified by mail of my license renewal date or E&O insurance expiry?

Regulators are handling license renewals electronically to eliminate all paper mailings. 

An Advisor is responsible to renew their own license by renewal date annually.  The regulators send email reminder notices, although they are not obligated to do so.  In the event you do not renew your license, your license will automatically be terminated in each jurisdiction you did not fulfil the license renewal requirement.  

Once your license &/or E&O is renewed, you must provide confirmation by entering renewal details to your APEXA Profile.

Important Note:  In the event your insurance license &/or E&O expires, or you did not update your APEXA Profile, your APEXA Profile is considered in an 'Unmonitored Status', and an Advisor's contract(s) are in jeopardy of being terminated by the Carrier(s) you are contracted with. 

In order to reinstate your License, the standard contracting procedures would need to be followed again which includes Advisor Screening and due diligence including credit and reference checks.
