What's New for the 2016 Travel Season?

Effective April 29th, the Manulife Travel Insurance Travelling Canadians, Visitors to Canada and Student plans have been enhanced.

Travelling Canadians

Changes include:

·         Commission

·          Eligibility Criteria

·         Medical Questionnaire

·         Definition Changes - Medical Questionnaire only

·         Policy

·         Premium Rate Categories

·         Premium Rates - Premium rates increase by an average of 5.4%

Visitors to Canada

Changes include:

·         Policy - paramedical services

·         Application for Plan B

Premium rates have not changed

Student Travel

Changes include:

·         Policy - paramedical services and maternity benefit

·         Premium Rate - The per diem premium rate increases to $2.70 from $2.44
