Changes to Strata Insurance Laws - Practice Advisory and Q&A
The Insurance Council has released a practice advisory and Q&A document providing additional guidance about what these regulatory changes mean for licensees. The Insurance Council held its Annual General Meeting of voting and non-voting members virtually on September 23, 2020. This was followed by a strategy session considering the regulatory implications of the online distribution of insurance. At the meeting, 2019/2020 chair, Lesley Maddison, provided an annual report of the Insurance Council's activities and its progress on the strategic plan. This was followed by a report on operations and a financial overview by CEO Janet Sinclair. The 2019/2020 Annual Report and Audited Financial Statements are available online.
