REMINDER: PROCEDURE FOR VALIDATING YOUR LICENCE AND LIABILITY INSURANCE
Since January 12, 2018, insurance applications submitted to New Business and Major Changes are now automatically validated by our systems.
Before accepting a transaction, Desjardins Insurance is required to validate your licence and liability insurance. If they’re not valid, the transaction is rejected and the application will be sent back to you.
To avoid delays, make sure you are aware of the following requirements:
To ensure your licence and liability insurance are active in our systems, you must send your renewals to licensing@dfs.ca.
Before sending a first piece of business, a pending code must be requested by email at compensation@dfs.ca, with valid licence and liability insurance.
Your representative code must be clearly written on all applications sent to New Business or Major Changes.
These simple steps will streamline processing and ensure the shortest possible turnaround times.
